"I visited Restauration zur Harmonie in September 2025 and had a reasonably good experience. There was minimal seating inside but was able to secure an outdoor table. This area of Basel is quite beautiful and its a serene and comfortable place to enjoy a meal. I had the rosti with fried eggs - was debating between that and the rosti with raclette cheese and wish I'd chosen the latter instead. The meal was fine - nothing wrong with it, just a little bland and the eggs were fairly well done so there wasn't much yolk to mix in the with the rosti. I had a veal sausage on the side and it certainly is not among the best I've had in the city. The establishment itself is rather quaint inside and is a perfect example of the kind of beautiful experience that makes Basel and Switzerland such an amazing place to visit."

"Nice small bar restaurant at the corner of the university. Nice staffs. Cozy atmosphere inside. A bit tight, but ok. Foods are fresh, good, and with big portions compared to the price. Recommended."

"We had lunch here with a friend. The overall experience was great. This a traditional restaurant with a good selection of meals. The service was friendly and efficient. I had roeschti with beef liver, my wife had the small wiener schnitzel (which was still large). The food tasted great. Prices are typical for Switzerland. We will be back on another trip to Basel."
